Jorasanko MLA Vivek Gupta has been removed from the governing body of Chittaranjan College. This time, he is targeting a faction of the ruling party in North Kolkata. TMC's state general secretary Kunal Ghosh has now stepped into the arena. Vivek's secretary, Payal Nag, is again under fire. Referring to a video, Kunal claims, "Is that girl running Jorasanko?" In the video (not verified by Taaza TV), Vivek Gupta's secretary is seen saying that she controls Jorasanko's politics.

Using this video as a tool, Kunal asks, when that girl was running Jorasanko, what was Vivek doing? Kunal Ghosh also commented that Vivek should not have spoken publicly about the party. On this day, Kunal said, "Vivek is a TMC MLA. If you have a problem, speak to the team leadership. If anything seems objectionable, talk to the team directly. It should not be said outside the party. And secondly, there is some communication gap. I saw a young woman on social media saying that she handles Jorasanko's politics. So what can an MLA do? And if the MLA is doing his work, where did this young woman come from? So there is a communication gap between them. It is better to avoid them."

Meanwhile, in response to Kunal's questions, Payal Nag clarified, "I work under Vivek Gupta ji. He is my MLA. And I follow the instructions given by him." After being removed from his position, an angry Vivek had said, "There are some self-proclaimed leaders. He had several problems. There are some outsider groups in Chittaranjan. They are TMC people. They are new. They joined this group for their benefit. They do not follow Mamata's ideals. They joined for their own gain."
