Kolkata Metro will operate with a revised schedule on Dolyatra and Holi, with services beginning in the afternoon instead of the usual morning hours. Blue Line, Green Line-1, and Green Line-2 will run limited services, while Orange Line and Purple Line will remain non-operational for the entire day.
On the Blue Line (Noapara – Kavi Subhash – Dakshineswar), Metro will run 60 services (30 UP + 30 DN) instead of 262. The first trains will depart at 14:30 hrs from Noapara, Kavi Subhash, and Dakshineswar. The last train timings will remain unchanged. Special night metro services will be available at 22:40 hrs from Kavi Subhash and Dumdum.
The Esplanade – Howrah Maidan stretch of Green Line-2 will have 42 services (21 from each terminal) instead of 130, operating from 15:00 hrs at 15-minute intervals. The first trains will leave from both Esplanade and Howrah Maidan at 15:00 hrs, and the last services will run at 20:00 hrs instead of 21:45 hrs.
The Salt Lake Sector V – Sealdah stretch of Green Line-1 will run 22 services (11 from each terminal) instead of 106, beginning at 15:00 hrs with 30-minute intervals. The first trains will depart at 15:00 hrs from Salt Lake Sector V and Sealdah, and the last services will run at 20:00 hrs instead of 21:40 hrs. No metro services will be available on the Orange Line and Purple Line on this day.
