In less than a week, aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) fined Air India for the second time.
On Tuesday, the DGCA fined the airline Rs 10 crore for not reporting another incident of unruly passenger behavior on board AI-142 (Paris-New Delhi) on December 6, 2022.
According to the DGCA, in the said incident, one passenger was caught smoking in the toilet, he was intoxicated and disobeyed the crew's instructions. Another passenger allegedly relieved himself on the passenger seat and blanket when she was not in her seat.
