The nominations for Oscars 2023 were announced on Tuesday, January 24. SS Rajamouli's song Naatu Naatu was nominated in the Best Original Song category. The song will compete with Jacqueline Fernandez's Hollywood film Tell It All Like A Woman song Applause by Diane Warren.
Jacqueline took to her official Instagram account to share the news with her followers and congratulate the team. She also penned a special message for the team of RRR. "Beyond words right now ???? Congratulations to @dianewarren @sofiacarson for the Oscar nomination for ‘Applause’ and making us all proud! It was an honour to be associated with this beautiful film ‘Tell it like a woman’ alongside such esteemed artists! Tell It Like a Woman is an anthology directed by Leena Yadav, Maria Sole Tognazzi, Lucia Puenzo, Silvia Carobbio, Taraji P Henson, Mipo Oh, and Catherine Hardwicke. It is an Italian-American production. Other songs nominated in the category are Hold My Hand from Top Gun: Maverick, Lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and This Is a Life from Everything Everywhere All at Once.
