Indian envoy discusses ties with newly sworn-in US counterpart Eric Garcetti
At the screening of Anurag Kashyap's Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat, Aryan Khan joined celebrities like Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Radhika Apte and Huma Qureshi among others. While many celebrities posed for the paparazzi outside the venue, Aryan ignored the paparazzi and went straight to the screening, which did not please a section of online users. Some said the Aryan had a "useless attitude". Although a few also defended him a few months ago, saying "the same media harassed him" until he was found not guilty in a road drug case.
Anurag Kashyap's Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat is set to release on February 3.The film stars Alaya F along with Karan Mehta in the lead role. A host of celebrities watched the film at a special screening in Mumbai on Tuesday. Aryan Khan was also spotted and grabbed attention for 'ignoring' the paparazzi as photographers shouted his name and asked him to pose for pictures outside the screening venue. Many Instagram users reacted to a video of Aryan, who is the son of actor Shah Rukh Khan and interior designer Gauri Khan, from the screening of Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat, which was shared on a paparazzo account.
One person commented: "Boy grown up, full attitude." Another wrote of Arya: "It's only because of King Khan (Shah Rukh) that he gets so much fame and respect." One was not impressed with Arya's behavior and wrote: "He has so many useless attitudes and the media don't know why you always want to capture him. Please ignore such rude people, it doesn't matter if he is a star kid " Another he noted, "He'll stop and pose for the paparazzi when his movie opens."
Several also defended Aryan, with one commenting, "Well, the same media harassed him and ran judgments and stories when he was accused (in the road drug case). He went through mental harassment and trauma until he was proven innocent. So nothing wrong, when he ignores the media which does not give people privacy and is so insensitive." Eight persons, including Aryan Khan, were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with an alleged drug raid on board a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai on 3 October 2021. In May 2022, the NCB cleared him in the case, saying "no drugs were found on Aryan Khan".
In December 2022, aspiring filmmaker Aryan announced his film debut as a writer under Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's production house, Red Chillies Entertainment.
