A speeding truck rammed into a car, leaving three dead and two injured in Uttar Pradesh's Raebareli. The truck driver fled the scene after the accident.
The car was going from Lakhimpur Kheri to Fatehpur for the Tilak ceremony when the accident took place. According to reports, the incident took place around 5 am on Sunday morning near Nanda Kheda village in Bachhrawan police station area.
With the help of local residents, the people trapped in Boler were taken out and sent to the Lucknow Trauma Center for immediate treatment. However, three people died on the way to the hospital.
The deceased, identified as Anugrah Singh, Rajesh Singh and Suresh Shukla, were residents of Khaga town in Fatehpur district. The police are currently investigating the case. Further details are awaited.
