Renowned television and film actor Shahnawaz Pradhan passed away on Friday at the age of 56. He reportedly suffered a massive heart attack and breathed his last at Mumbai's Kokilaben hospital. The news of his death was confirmed by actor Yashpal Sharma. Yashpal took to his Instagram handle to share that Pradhan suffered a heart attack shortly after receiving an award at an event in Mumbai.
"Today attended this program in Mumbai... Everything was going great... Ridz Dime Darrell ji's and hundreds of artists were present but shortly after receiving the award our beloved artist Shahnawaz had an attack... The whole program stopped with the help of the people and the doctor picked him up early and taken to the car downstairs to Kokilaben Hospital which was the closest but no one could save him and he passed away," Yashpal wrote on Instagram.
Pradhan's 'Mirzapur' co-star Rajesh Tailang expressed his shock and tweeted, "Shahnawaz bhai aakhiri salaam !!! Kya gazab ke zaheen insaan aur kitne behatar adaakar the aap. Mirzapur ke dauran kitna sundar waqt guzara aapke saath, Yaqeen nahin ho raha."
In his career spanning over three decades, Pradhan had been a part of some of the most memorable shows, including 'Dekh Bhai Dekh', 'Alif Laila', 'Krishna', 'Byomkesh Bakshi', '24', 'Mirzapur', and others. Not just that, but he had also acted in films like 'Pyaar Koi Khel Nahin', 'Phantom' and 'Raees'.
