Kamrup Express faces 5.5 hours delay due to coupler trouble, passengers suffer

On Friday morning, Kamrup Express, a long-distance train running between Guwahati and Dibrugarh, was stuck at Jalpaiguri Road station for hours, causing inconvenience to the passengers and creating a stir in the railway department. The train came to a halt in the morning due to a problem noticed in the coupler connecting the engine to the coach, and it remained stationary for nearly three hours.

Pratim Das, a passenger traveling to Guwahati, expressed regret over the delay, stating that there was no proper arrangement, and he was uncertain when he would reach his destination.
