    On Wednesday, streaming platform Netflix announced a documentary about the life of hip-hop artist and rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh. Described as a "bare documentary", the project will allow Yo Yo Honey Singh to dive deep into life and suddenly disappear at the height of his career, which startled the industry and fans alike and attracted intense media attention.

    It will chronicle the rapper's personal and professional journey with behind-the-scenes moments direct from Hirdesh Singh, better known by his stage name Yo Yo Honey Singh, himself along with his family members, friends and musical collaborators. he was by his side through it all.

    Yo Yo Honey Singh said he has spoken about his personal and career issues in the media before, but was never able to "bare it all". "I've gotten so much love from my fans and they deserve to know the whole story." "This Netflix documentary will give everyone an honest and candid account of my life, my upbringing, where I've been and my current journey to come back stronger," said the music artiste, known for songs like Brown Rang, Desi Kalakaar. and Lungi Dance, in a statement.

    The documentary is directed by Mozez Singh and produced by Guneet Monga and Achin Jain of Sikhya Entertainment, the banner that recently won an Oscar for The Elephant Whisperers.

    Monga said she always wanted to explore Yo Yo Honey Singh's "tumultuous journey to fame" that captivated the country. Fortunately, Netflix has always supported and delivered unique, diverse local stories to a global audience, creating a perfect fit for an authentic documentary like this.
