Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will meet Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal at his residence at 11:30 am today.

Yesterday, Kejriwal sought the support of the opposition parties for the Centre's new ordinance to control services in the state capital. He called the regulation unconstitutional and said his government would take the Supreme Court against it. “I want to appeal to the opposition parties to defeat this bill in the Rajya Sabha as it is their reckoning. I will speak to each party leader myself and ask them to oppose the bill. This is undemocratic and should not be approved,” he said.

Meanwhile, senior government officials said the regulation will be supplemented by another notification, order, or circular, which is expected to be issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) early next week. In other news, L-G House officials said the L-G Secretariat has received complaints from eight All India Services officials alleging "blatant harassment" by AAP leaders.

Among them is Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar, who alleged that Services Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj committed misconduct and intimidation against officers in the department. Bharadwaj, on his part, filed a police complaint accusing Kumar of threatening him with death. Police said they are looking into the case.
