ISIS India head, Saquib Nachan dies in Delhi hospital after brain haemorrhage
Bhajan singer Kanhaiya Mittal, who gained popularity with his song "Jo Ram Ko Laaye Hain" during the Uttar Pradesh elections, has reversed his decision to join the Congress following strong criticism from his fans. Mittal, who was reportedly eyeing a BJP ticket for the Panchkula seat in the upcoming Haryana elections, changed course when the BJP fielded veteran leader Gyan Chand instead.
Initially, Mittal had expressed his intent to join the Congress, emphasizing that his song was dedicated to Yogi Adityanath and not the BJP specifically. He wanted to convey that the BJP is not the only party upholding Sanatan values.
However, after facing backlash on social media, Mittal shared a video apologizing to his fans, stating that he would stand by the Sanatanis and retract his decision to join the Congress.
In his video, Mittal expressed regret, saying, "I apologize for upsetting you all. I take back my decision to join Congress as I don't want to break the trust of any Sanatani. We were with Ram, are with Ram, and will remain with Ram."
