UP woman caught brutally beating & throwing children; Police begin probe after shocking video goes viral

A video recorded in Etmad Sarai village under the jurisdiction of Dehat Kotwali in Bulandshahr district shows a woman violently beating two children with slippers and slaps. The footage, lasting about 1 minute and 8 seconds, shows her continuously hitting the children while verbally abusing them. She also yells at and threatens the person recording the incident.

The video further shows the woman lifting the children from a cot and slamming them onto the ground. Despite the children appearing frightened, the woman continues hitting them. The children are seen crying and cowering during the incident, but no help is seen being provided at the time of recording.

Following circulation of the video, Dehat Kotwali police initiated an investigation based on the footage. Officials confirmed that the location is Etmad Sarai village and efforts are underway to identify all individuals involved. Dehat Kotwal Neeraj Malik stated, “The matter is under investigation based on the video. Further action will be taken accordingly.”

The incident has triggered public concern regarding the safety and treatment of children. The police have not yet confirmed the relationship between the woman and the children. Investigation outcomes are awaited as authorities continue to gather facts from the site and verify the video’s authenticity.
