Trump issues stern warning to Iran, says "US dad 'no role' in Israeli Strikes on Iran"

US President Donald Trump issued a forceful warning to Iran on Sunday, stating that "if we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the US armed forces will come down on you at levels never seen before." His remarks came as tensions in the Middle East escalated, following a series of Israeli strikes on Iran and subsequent Iranian retaliatory attacks on Israel. Trump also clarified that the United States had "nothing to do" with Israel's overnight attacks on Iran, distancing Washington from the direct military actions.

The recent escalation saw Israel target Iran's defense ministry headquarters in Tehran and strike the world's largest natural gas processing unit in Bushehr Province on Saturday. In response, waves of Iranian attacks commenced on Saturday and continued into Sunday morning, with Iranian missiles entering Israeli skies. Casualties have been reported on both sides; at least ten people were killed and over 200 injured in the Israeli cities of Tamra, Bat Yam, and Rehovot, while an Israeli missile strike in Tehran reportedly killed at least 60 people, including 29 children.

Amidst these heightened hostilities, Trump claimed on his Truth Social platform that he could "easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel and end this conflict." However, diplomatic efforts faced a setback as Tehran cancelled the sixth round of nuclear talks with Washington D.C., which were scheduled for Sunday. The cancellation signals Iran's reluctance to engage in negotiations while under Israeli military pressure, further complicating international efforts to de-escalate the volatile situation.
