Taaza TV has launched the third edition of its flagship intra and inter-school quiz competition, KWIZDOM 3.0, bringing together over 50,000 students from the top 100 schools in Kolkata in partnership Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) Ministery of Defence unit. Designed for students of Classes 9, 10, and 11, the quiz aims to promote academic excellence and celebrate India’s cultural legacy, general knowledge, and current affairs.
The event will commence with school-level preliminary rounds starting July 22, 2025, where students will attempt a 30-minute multiple-choice questionnaire covering Indian history, heritage, and present-day developments. Conducted on OMR sheets for standardisation, these rounds are held within classrooms or auditoriums under faculty supervision.
From each school, the top scorers from Classes 9, 10, and 11 will form a three-member team to advance to higher rounds. The journey will culminate in a grand finale hosted before a live audience, with wide media coverage to highlight the achievement of the city’s brightest young minds.
Each participating student is also being awarded a “Student Kit” filled with gifts and vouchers, thanks to generous support from sponsors such as Disney Cruise, Exciting Tales, Emami Healthy & Tasty, Win Pens, Natural Group, WoW Momo, Aakash Institute, Ajanta Footwear, IFGL, Bhagwati Biscuits and Nicco Park.
