A Bhojpuri dance program was organized at a blood donation camp in Jayanagar 2 Number Block to entertain local residents. During the event at Telipukur Hat in Gardeyani Gram Panchayat, a Trinamool Congress leader was seen dancing with a female performer. A video of the dance quickly circulated on social media and went viral, attracting widespread attention.
The opposition raised questions regarding the participation of the party leader in the dance program, stating that “the same party which claims to protect Bengal’s pride had a block-level leader publicly participating in a Bhojpuri dance with a female performer.” Local residents were present during the event, but no official statement has been issued by authorities regarding the incident.
