A tragic industrial accident at a pharmaceutical company in Maharashtra's Palghar district has resulted in the death of four people. The incident occurred after a gas leak was reported at the Medley Company in the Tarapur Industrial Area of Boisar, leaving several employees severely affected by the toxic fumes. The devastating event has raised serious concerns about industrial safety protocols in the region.
The gas leak was first detected within the premises of the Medley Company, which is a key industrial unit in the area. The sudden and unexpected release of the hazardous gas caused immediate health issues among the employees working in the vicinity. A state of panic ensued as workers scrambled to escape the toxic environment.
A total of six employees were affected by the gas leak and were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital to receive urgent medical care. Despite the best efforts of the medical staff, four of the affected employees tragically succumbed to their injuries, while the other two are currently under observation and receiving treatment.
