PM will offer Anjali to Maa Durga this Ashtami in Kolkata, receives multiple invitations
BJP leader Amit Malviya on Friday launched a sharp attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, accusing her of misleading voters over the submission of her enumeration form. Malviya said the Chief Minister submitted the form on the last day, despite publicly claiming just hours earlier that she would not file it.
He pointed to Mamata Banerjee’s remarks at a rally in Krishnanagar, where she had announced she would not submit her enumeration form. According to Malviya, the Chief Minister’s later action contradicted her own statement, raising questions about her intent and messaging.
In a post on X, Malviya wrote that Mamata Banerjee “once again demonstrated her tendency to mislead” by filing a duly filled and signed form after months of what he described as misinformation. He claimed her statements and actions had created confusion among voters.
Malviya added that the Chief Minister finally submitted her SIR enumeration form on December 11, 2025, ensuring her status as a valid voter in West Bengal.
