Leading the field is Sinners, which set a new record with 16 nominations, the most ever for a single film in Oscar history. This achievement surpasses the previous record of 14 nominations shared by classics such as Titanic and La La Land.
Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another follows closely with a strong showing across major categories, collecting double-digit nominations including Best Picture, Best Director and acting nods. Other films such as Hamnet, Frankenstein, Marty Supreme and Sentimental Value also secured multiple nominations, reflecting a diverse slate of contenders across genres and storytelling styles.
In the acting categories, the nominees feature a mix of established stars and emerging talent. Leading Actor nods went to Timothée Chalamet (Marty Supreme), Leonardo DiCaprio (One Battle After Another) and Michael B. Jordan (Sinners), among others, while Jessie Buckley, Rose Byrne and Emma Stone are among the Best Actress contenders.
