An emergency situation unfolded at Rabindra Sarovar metro station when a person came and jumped front of a Dakshineswar-bound metro train as it was entering the station around 10:45am. According to available information, the metro driver applied emergency brakes in an attempt to stop the train immediately. Metro services on the stretch were affected following the incident as officials initiated safety protocols.
Rescue operations were initiated soon after, with metro authorities and emergency teams coordinating efforts at the station. As of the latest update, the person has not yet been rescued, and the situation remains under close monitoring.
The incident caused temporary disruption to services and movement at Rabindra Sarovar station, with commuters advised to remain cautious and follow official announcements as authorities continue to manage the situation. The metro services on the route continue with disruptions between Shahid Khudiram station and Rabindra Sarovar.
