Weather conditions in Kolkata and adjoining areas remained normal on Monday, with clear skies and dry conditions prevailing across the region. The Meteorological Department indicated that there is no possibility of rainfall, and no major change in the overall weather pattern is expected.
According to the forecast, light mist or haze may occur during the early morning hours, causing brief reduction in visibility. As the day advances, the mist is expected to dissipate, allowing the sky to remain mostly clear and weather conditions to return to normal.
The maximum temperature in Kolkata is likely to hover around 27 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature may remain close to 15 degrees Celsius. Officials said no significant fluctuation in temperature is anticipated, keeping the weather pleasant during the day.
Dry weather will also continue in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. However, light to moderate fog may be experienced in parts of Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri and Cooch Behar districts during morning hours, which could impact visibility. No major weather change is expected in the coming days.
