20 IPS officers reshuffled across Bengal; LN Meena gets additional role of ADG Crime Records Bureau

In a significant administrative move, the Government of West Bengal has ordered a large-scale reshuffle of Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, transferring 20 কর্মকর্তাদের with immediate effect in the interest of public service. The changes, issued by the Home & Hill Affairs Department, reflect a strategic strengthening of key wings such as the Special Task Force (STF) and Intelligence Branch (IB).

Several senior officers, including Rajeev Mishra, Praveen Kumar Tripathi, and Sunil Kumar Choudhary, have been reassigned to crucial roles, while multiple district Superintendents of Police have been moved to intelligence and STF postings. The reshuffle also includes promotions and additional charges, indicating a broader administrative realignment across policing units in the state.
