A massive fire broke out in Khairwa Tola village under Chanpatia in West Champaran district of Bihar, reducing more than 50 houses to ashes and leaving several families homeless. The blaze spread rapidly through the settlement, causing panic among residents as flames engulfed homes within a short period of time.
According to initial information, the fire intensified quickly and moved from one house to another, largely due to the close proximity of the structures. Residents rushed to save their belongings and evacuate family members as thick smoke and flames spread across the area, creating scenes of chaos and distress. Firefighting teams were rushed to the spot and battled the flames for several hours before finally bringing the situation under control. The operation involved continuous efforts to prevent the fire from spreading further to nearby houses and properties.
The incident has resulted in significant losses, with property worth lakhs destroyed in the blaze. Many affected families have been left without shelter after their homes and household belongings were completely gutted. Authorities are assessing the extent of the damage while relief support is expected for the displaced residents.
