In a bid to strengthen the party's district organization and address internal issues, BJP's All India President JP Nadda is scheduled to visit Bengal before the Panchayat elections.

The visit, planned for early June, aims to tackle infighting within the party and strategize for the upcoming Panchayat and Lok Sabha elections.

Accompanying Nadda on the tour will be central observers Amit Malviya, Sunil Bansal, and Mangal Pandey, who will hold meetings with district leadership and visit various districts. Specific attention will be given to centers where BJP faced narrow defeats, such as Arambagh, Nadia, Shrirampur, Krishnanagar, and Malda South, with a focus on strengthening booth-level organization.

Reshuffling of the district organization is a possibility, depending on the need identified during the visit. However, it remains uncertain whether JP Nadda will hold any public meetings during his visit.

JP Nadda's visit comes in the backdrop of Trinamool leader Abhishek Banerjee's public relations campaign for the upcoming Panchayat elections. With Mamata Banerjee also participating in public relations programs, BJP aims to intensify its activities in West Bengal, putting pressure on the ruling party.

It is worth noting that JP Nadda had previously visited Bengal in February, holding public meetings in East Medinipur and East Burdwan.
